One of her portraits is signed "To my leading lady from me your leading man, Cheney 1931." From Bob's JAB book: "After Ziegfeld's death, [Alfred Cheney Johnston] formed a corporation with model Margaret Horan (who also posed for Man Ray) and attempted to organize his own Follies-type revue but it failed." Margaret Horan became a very famous, sought after high fashion model in the 1930s and 1940s, posing for such photographers as Man Ray and Edward Steichen.
